Detectorist Privacy Policy

Detectorist does not collect any personal data. The app has no servers, no analytics, no third-party SDKs, and no account system. Nothing you create in the app is transmitted to us or anyone else.

What stays on your device

Your finds, photos, GPS locations, hunt sessions, and tracks are stored only on your iPhone (and your own iCloud device backups, if you use them). We never receive or see this data.

Permissions

• Location — used to tag finds with GPS and to record your walked track during a hunt. Stored locally; never uploaded.
• Camera & Photos — used only when you choose to add a photo to a find. Photos are stored with the find on your device.

Purchases

The optional Detectorist Pro subscription is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Children

Detectorist collects no data from anyone, including children.
